Laura began her practice in 1997 when taking a psychology class where she learned that yoga could help manage stress and migraines. At that time, there was no yoga in Savannah so she started watching videos at home until she found some she enjoyed. She was drawn to yoga more than any other type of exercise she had done and continued her home practice for several years. When yoga classes were started in Savannah she attended different classes around town. She had a dedicated practice for many years before deciding to complete a Yoga Teacher Training program. She received her 200-hour YTT certification from Mira Yoga School in May 2015. Laura loves how her practice has evolved over the years and knows that she will continue to grow and change over time. No matter what's going on in her life, she knows she can always come to her mat and get exactly what she needs from her practice. She always finds calmness and peace of mind when she steps on the mat. It is her goal to create a fun and safe environment where students can come into their own strength and place of calm during their practice.
