Cindy started taking yoga classes in 1999 in Chicago, Illinois. She initially loved yoga because of the way it made her feel, but kept going because of the practices adaptability and depth. She kept returning to her yoga practice through graduate school and then three children, providing a haven during life’s changes. Her home practice may not be a 90 minute session, and there may be children and/or dogs sharing her mat, but yoga is something that has continuously kept her grounded and happy.
In 2014 she decided to complete teacher training with the Mira Yoga School. It was a wonderful experience and really opened her eyes to the joy of sharing something you love. She has always been interested in teaching and loves nerding out over a pose or theme. She really enjoys sequencing and providing classes that are stimulating and that may even make you laugh. She continues her study of yoga by attending trainings and taking online courses from a wide variety of teachers.
Cindy completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training through Mira Yoga School in May 2015. She teaches All-levels Vinyasa Yoga & Intro to Yoga.
